Hi there,
I’ve just started using GP and the block builder, having been using Avada for years (but its not quick enough on mobile!)…
and I’m sorry if I’m missing something very simple, but the home page is not displaying correctly.I had a very simple site running previously and changed the theme to GP. I then imported one of the library templates (Construction), and tried to overwork one of the pages….but when I check to view the homepage, I’m getting no layout, just rows of text content and huge icons across the screen.

can you go to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Settings, and try changing the CSS PRINT METHOD to
inline embeddingThen clear your browser cache, does it display correctly then ?

Yes, that has cleared the huge icons and rows of text, thank you :-), but will that change in setting increase mobile speed? as that was the reason for choosing this theme and builder.As a newbie to this format, could you confirm why I’m seeing the banner across the top of the page on the index page please? It’s an additional Home banner that I don’t want there, but I can’t work out where it is coming from.
And another problem seems to be that I’m not seeing some media. I have uploaded 2 new files today, but they are not showing.
You will see the outline of where an image should be in the footer, and in the media library, lots of files are blank.Thank you in advance for your advice.

The performance impact should not be much, you can safely ignore it.

The theme has no control over the media library, it’s a WP core feature. I wonder if there’re some cache issues, or maybe related to your host/server settings.
