Hi.
I’ve defined four custom post types (artists, events, reviews, news). In the single post view I want to display a left sidebar only for the post type ‘artist’. In the Customizer (Layout > Sidebars) I can define the sidebar configuration for single posts only globally – independent of the post type. Is there a possibility to display the left sidebar only for specific post types?

Hi there,
you can use a Layout Element to enable the sidebar on your specific post:

TLDR:
1. Enable the Elements module in Appearanace > GeneratePress.
2. Appearance > Elements -> Add New –> Layout
2.1 on the Sidebar tab select the sidebar config
2.1 Set the Display Rules to match your post type eg.Artists->All ArtistsHi,
