Hi, I’ve never had this issue before but now when I’m adding containers to a page lots of white space is showing up in the background.

Hi Orlaith,
One solution is to change the Background color of your Content area in Appearance > Customize > Colors. Right now, it seems to be set to white.
Another approach is to remove the padding set in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container.
