Hi. Trying to use elements to put links in the main navigation, using “generate inside navigation”. The links that appears in menu has no padding/margin, like the regular menu items, do I need to apply a class to my links for this?

Is there a reason why you are not using the default navigation system and creating it manually?

This does not make any sense at all:

Yes, some links are for one usergroup, other links are for a different usergroup (elements have settings to display per usergroup, I don’t know how to do this in other manner).

Have you considered using the buttons block from GB?

It would be the easiest solution if you aren’t too familiar with HTML and CSS.

How do I show links in menu to just one usergroup using buttons from GB?

the links are elements, with settings for visibility, the site is used by two usergroups. works perfect, but I thought perhaps hooking a link into the main menu using elements/hooks would also apply the style set for the main menu in theme. it seems it doesn’t, but I’ll figure it out, the only issue is the missing padding/margin, making the links a bit hard to read.

If you are referring to the display rules here then using the block element should have no differences.

No – that would not be a good idea as most people are adding content that is not menu items with that hook.

One more thing I noticed, linked placed in main menu doesn’t show in mobile menu, is there any fix for that?
