Yesterday my website was blocked by google. There is an error of malware attack in it. When I scanned the website with Wordfence plugin it showed me an error in your plugin.
I am sending you the screenshot. Please tell me why this happened in your plugin. My website is not live yet. I have submitted the form on google.
But I am surprised that after scanning the website with Wordfence plugin, the name of your plugin has appeared in it.
    please see the screenshot https://prnt.sc/GRkYNYIy-e1v

    Hi Mayank,

That file isn’t from us. There’s no generatepress-template-plugin directory in any of our products. We don’t have this sort of plugin either. Perhaps a hacker added this to your site and made it look like it’s from us?

You can try deleting it and see how it goes. But, as mentioned, we don’t have a plugin with a directory like that.

You can try deleting it through this method: https://kinsta.com/blog/uninstall-wordpress-plugin/#uninstall-wordpress-plugin-ftp

Thanks for a quick reply. I have scanned my website with wordfence security plugin. And you are telling me how to remove it. I think you didn’t understand my question.
I have told you that I scanned my website with wordfence security plugin. Because my website was blocked by Google. They think there is a malware attack on my website.

When I scanned my website with wordfence security plugin. So first let me show you the plugin name of your theme. Which is original.

Which I have sent you the screenshot. Please look at it carefully. And tell me how can I fix the error of this plugin of yours.

    I understood your question. 🙂

What I’m saying is that this plugin is not from us nor is it coded by any of our developers.

How did you install that? Even if it’s named “generatepress”, it’s definitely not from us.

Did you download and install a plugin that is not from the WordPress repository?

It could be a fake plugin from the internet. Or, someone got access to your site and installed it manually. Please delete it.

Sir, I have installed your plugin since that time. Ever since I bought it. If you speak, I will give you access to my WordPress admin panel. You check yourself. that plugin belongs to you

As Fernando mentioned, generatepress-template-plugin is not the name of our product.

Do you see the plugin in Dashboard > Plugins? If so please remove it.

Our product name is called GP Premium:

I have removed the plugin at your request.
After removing the plugin, WordPress is showing this error inside the admin panel. And the plugin of this name is installed in the WordPress admin. View the screenshot.

After this I opened my GeneratePress account. In that I see 3 plugins with different names. 3 https://prnt.sc/aHzJ24cdEZTB

I would recommend contacting your host to make sure all files related to generatepress-template-plugin are removed – this isn’t something we can help with.

This screenshot shows that the most recent version of GP Premium has already been installed so you don’t need to reinstall anything.

Please take a look at this article for further explanation:

Thank you for giving this information. Now my website has been blocked by google. When it will be live then I have to customize the theme in it. I can’t find the template of my choice in the demo template you provided.
But I have seen online. Many customers have found your template very well designed.
Can you tell me where to get the codes to customize your theme?

Are you referring to Site Library templates? Reference: https://generatepress.com/site-library/

If so, you can just import them with no need for extra code.

This article may help you regarding this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-site-library/
