Myles
I’m building out a new site, and when trying to add links to the footer, everything looks good from within the backend admin dashboard.
However, on the site, the text is so small.
YOu can see the staging site here: https://wordpress-688581-2273186.cloudwaysapps.com/
There are 6 pieces of text at the bottom below the social media icons. The size on the site doesn’t match the size in the editor.
Please advise. Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Looks like it’s set to
12px:
https://www.screencast.com/t/IAKiNKvGfhIWhat setting are you using the in the customizer?
Can you take a screenshot of the setting you are using?

It’s set at 18 in customizer.
You can see it here: https://soapbox.wistia.com/videos/ZoSjLn2hXy

StaffCustomer SupportWhen changes do not reflect on a live site, it’s usually a caching or optimization issue.
We haven’t had other reports on on the font size not working either.
Can you try disabling all plugins except GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to test?
I believe Cloudways has cache built-in by default as well so make sure that is cleared.

Hi Leo,
That didn’t work.
Also, I”m using a Staging site with cloudways that has all caching turned off.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you provide the staging site dashboard access for me to take a quick look?
Please make sure all plugins except for GB and GP Premium are disabled.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportInteresting. Looks like using
divis causing the issue. Can you try using a paragraph instead? I’ll take a closer look to see if it’s a bug.

Thank you!

StaffCustomer SupportActually, it’s not a bug.
The custom selector you’ve added in the customizer is causing the issue:
https://www.screencast.com/t/ervxTHsUThat is overwriting the headline block setting.

Thanks. I didn’t add that–it came with the theme I’m using.
Will it break anything if I remove it?

StaffCustomer SupportI didn’t add that–it came with the theme I’m using.
Ooops sorry about that! Definitely not a good thing to add and I’ll talk to the site author.
I don’t believe it will break anything else but if it does then let me know – I’ll guide you to fix it 🙂

Hi Leo,
I’m running into another issue in the footer, this time dealing with font colors.
When you look at the footer links, four are active, you’ll see the font size is fixed.
However, the “About Us” link is slightly darker than the rest of the links.
When you click any of the other active links, they too then become darker and not the same color I used in the customizer.
Please advise.

StaffCustomer SupportCan you open a new topic for the separate question?
Thanks!
