Can you give the navigation as header option a try?

Thank you for the feedback.
I have activated navigation as header, but the problem persists.If you open a big submenu on mobile, the menu expands below bottom screen.
You pan with your fingers and only after some time panning you finnaly get the submenu entries visible.If you want I can send you the credentials for the local site on the private info text.

If so you would need to use the Off Canvas Panel on mobile:

If it was up to me, I would rebuild that site from scratch. Shouldn’t be very difficult with GB.
