Caught off-guard with the lace of pre-built options in the Typography Manager of Generate Press. Are there any Pre-Built Typography systems/options available so I am not building the typography from scratch? (that I may be overlooking?)

It would be nice to have some sans-serif options, out-of-the-gate, that I can tweak later.

Appreciate it & please let me know.

    Thanks!

And if there is not – that is okay. Just did not want to overlook something I night be missing.

    Hi Tom,

No – there are no pre-built typography options.

The default option would be system stack which is the best for performance.

Then we leave the rest of the further customizations to the users when needed.

    Hope this helps 🙂

    Leo,
When you mean the “system stack” – is that essentially what is available on an individual’s computer?

Last question – If I leave things alone – it will use the system font present – correct? So – what I see on my Windows box – will differ from my Mac OS will differ from my iOS… android etc…

But in the end will be faster.
    (Just confirming)

Yes, if you do not set up any fonts in the typography system, your site will use the browser’s default fonts.

So – what I see on my Windows box – will differ from my Mac OS will differ from my iOS… android etc…

    That’s correct.

But in the end will be faster.

    That’s correct.
