Hi there,
I want to know if you can help limit the amount of content which shows in the Search results for Woo Commerce products on this page:
https://seedsofthesunbyronbay.com/?s=buttSo if you see the products, they take all the short description and don’t limit the amount of content which is shown.
The pages limit the content which is shown to a certain amount.I am using the ajax search lite plugin for the search option: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-search-lite/
Any ideas how I can limit this or make it look more balanced?

Hi John,
The Short description works like a Custom Excerpt. And, WordPress assumes that since you manually entered a short description, you would want the entire thing to display.
If you want to limit it, you can create a Block Element – Content Template for the Search Page. Then, add the excerpt/short description through a Headline Block. Lastly, you’ll need to filter this Headline through code to trim it.
If you are okay with this, proceed with creating a Block Element, and let us know when it’s done. We’ll help you with the code afterward.
