    How long is a demo import supposed to take? I’ve done imports before and I don’t remember it taking long, but I’m attempting an import now on a new WordPress install that is taking forever. I eventually just cancelled it and tried again, but it’s still getting hung up on the “importing content” section.

    This is for the “Stream” site from the site library.

    I don’t assume that waiting 20-30 minutes for this import to finish is normal, is it?

    Hi Aaron,

    It definitely shouldn’t take that long.

    Can you confirm that this is the same case for other templates?

    And does the process work ok without importing the demo content?

    Hey Leo,

    Ok, I’ve tried importing multiple templates, and they all got stuck when importing the demo content. If I didn’t choose to import the demo content, they all worked fine and finished quickly.

    I’ll create a user for you so you can duplicate the issue as well 🙂

    can you set the login your provided to an Admin user.
    Let us know and please confirm its ok for us to import sites to test.

    Hi Aaron,

    I logged in and was not able to get the site library to show up.

    I checked the site health, it looks like having some critical issues.

    Ok, yes, I recently moved to a VPS and hadn’t yet installed the necessary modules. That fixed the issue and I was now able to import the demo content successfully. Thank you!
