Hi,
when I click on the button “laod more blog-articles” at the bottom oft the blog-page, and I do this three ore four times, then I click on a certain blog-article and want to go back, I’m landing on the first blog-page. So it’s very hard to navigate back to the third or fourth page of the blog. Is ist possible to achieve the following:
I click for example four times on “load more”, then I click on a blog article and want to go back, I will land on page 4 of the blog again and not on page one? Hope I could explain this understandable…

where can i see this issue ?
Most browsers will load the cached instance of the previous page and therefore the back button will return you to where you were.
Which browser or device are you having this issue ?
I’m using Google Chrome on a desktop. Same issue with a mobile phone, android/chrome…

Hi Anne-Barbara,
That’s the default behavior for all browsers. Moreover, since you’re using the Load More feature, by default, when going back to that page, it goes back to its original state.
Your desired behavior will work if you use the default paged system and not the “Load More” feature.

thank you for your reply! I cecked it aout and it is the same problem. When going back, I’m landing on the first page. I’m in contact with my wordpress-expert and we will install a plugin for pagination.
