not sure if this is a general wordpress query or a generatepress/theme query
basically on my website i have categories and when someone clicks on the category i get a blog roll of posts in that category
but in some of my catergories, i have sub catergories
so what i would like to do is have a page or something that when someone clicks on the catergory, it gives a link to the subcatergory
can i do this with just the normal catergory in the menu or do i have to create a page
also if i create a page it’s gonna have a new url which might mess everything up
what’s the best way to go about this?

Hi John,
You can try creating a Block Element – Loop Template to basically override the main query loop of a specific Category, and you can manually add “Child Category” boxes/links.

Currently, there’s no feature that allows you to query categories in such a way. You would need custom code for this if you want it dynamically, or you can create it manually as mentioned per category.
