Hi there… I hope you can help us remove the featured image still showing up in our posts.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sWLigyJbBsRBjO3VNXp2vEiv0erm15r3/view?usp=sharing

After disabling the options on Customize > Layout > Blog > Featured Image, it is still appearing on posts. I wonder if there’s other area on the backend that I needed to toggle off for us to fix this.

Will appreciate the help. Thank you.

Hello, David. Yeah, you can see it on these posts:
    https://myrooff.com/how-wide-is-metal-roofing-sheets/

    https://myrooff.com/types-of-roof-trusses/

These are just few from many of the posts.
The first image is the featured image you can see on the post.

I already created a layout Element and already disabled all featured images on Customize option. But still, it shows up in the post.

The Theme provides several options on where it can display the featured. But inside the post content is not one of them.
How is the Featured image been added to the Post Content ?

I don’t know either. We certainly didn’t try to add those in the first place. I even asked one of the support here to remove it as we are having this problem way before. The layout Element works for a couple of years now as your colleague suggested. It’s just that, this time, the problem went back and the Layout Element is no longer working.

    Hi Shlomo,

Can you first try #1 here to make sure a plugin isn’t adding this?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

It would be ideal to take a backup of your site first before doing this.
