Ghazi
Hello guys
Is there a way to copy a specific site to another site?
In the sense of copying all the settings of the template used and installing it on another site?
For your information, I also use generateblocks to build some pagesI hope you understood my question

Hi Ghazi,
Are you referring to the Customizer settings? If so, you can go to Appearance > GeneratePress, and export All customizer settings in the Import / Export section. If you have custom CSS in Additional CSS, you’ll need to manually copy and paste this.
Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/import-export-overview/
If you’re referring to Elements as well, you can export them in Tools > Export.
As for Additional CSS, you’ll need to manually copy and paste this from site to site.

Thank you for your prompt response
I have a site, let’s call it site (A), I want to install the generatepress template on it.
I have a site let’s call it (b) currently it works with generatepress template already and I installed a search template and customized and built the pages completely with the help of generateblocks
My question is, is it possible to transfer the design of site (b) to site (a) completely, with full customization and everything, or not?
If yes, I want the methodDecember 5, 2022 at 8:17 pm #2451056Fernando Customer Support
Yes, you’ll need to import all Elements, and all the Customizer settings as mentioned.
You also need to manually copy and paste any CSS code added through Additional CSS.
That should allow you to fully replicate the design you have in site B to site A.

To clarify, do you want to import just the design? Or, do you also want to import the content including the pages and posts as well?

I see. If it’s total “migration”, you can use a Migration tool instead.
One popular tool is All in One WP Migration Plugin. I also found this video which may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpsjTPsygbs

Through this, you can transfer everything easily in one go.

A question, why were the elements not imported?

Elements should also be imported. Did you use the plugin? If it didn’t work, can you try exporting and importing them manually through Tools > Export/Import? Reference: https://wordpress.org/support/article/tools-export-screen/
