    Hi there,
I changed the GP theme I was using to Volume and everything is great, except… any blog post now clicks through to a blank page. I’m guessing that some setting I had adjusted previously is now negatively impacting this.

I discovered this after posting a new blog. The new blog shows up correctly on the home page as a link on a ‘latest articles’ grid (see the home page of http://www.planetpatrick.net and the article about Clubrooms Lounge is new today). If you click on the link, blank page.

I wondered if this might be a caching issue as I use Ezoic. However, the same is true of ANY blog post – they all go to a blank page.

Note: I don’t get an error, the link appears to go to the right place.

Let me know if I can clarify anything.

Note: I reset my permalinks structure to /postname and saved those settings (hoping for a change :))

Update: I used a VPN and a different browser and my new blog post is not appearing at all, even on the home page as a Latest Article. This does suggest a caching issue. I’ve looked at the CDN settings in Ezoic and switched automatic caching back off then back on, to see if this helps.

    Hi there,

the very latest post returns a critical error and the rest of the posts return an page with no content ( there is no body HTML, but the head is intact ).

The critical error suggests a problem on the site, check with your host if they can provide more details on that error.

Update: in case anyone else hits this and finds the thread…

Critical error was caused by Yoast SEO plugin (premium version). Once deactivated, the site started to work as expected.
    Thanks, David, as always.

    You’re welcome.
I would suggest raising a support topic with Yoast 🙂
