    Hi

As soon as I updated my GeneratePress theme, the alignment of my logo, a text element, and social icons has gotten off. And I can’t manage to fix it. Can you please help? A screenshot is attached. I want all three of them to appear with a little space vertically one below the other.

    Thanks,
    Chintan

    Hi there,

    can you:

    1. Go to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Settings and click regenerate CSS
    2. Clear any cache plugins.

    Hi David,

    Done, but it hasn’t helped.

    Thanks,
    Chintan

In that setting if you switch the CSS method to Inline – does that change ?

Nope it still appears in the same way.

I can’t see how a theme update would’ve caused this issue.

Can you show me what it looks like in the editor?

    Hi Chintan,

Can you change the Alignment of the Social Icons to None?

    Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/nOu1BJr5

Let us know how it goes.

Another way to approach this is the use a GB Buttons Block instead to create the Social Icons. Here’s a video created by Leo showing how to create Social Icons with GenerateBlocks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAleVWQi5EA

That alignment thing did the trick :’) Thanks a lot. Is this related to the theme update? Or could be something else?

    You’re welcome Chintan!

Did you update you’re WordPress lately? Something in their previous update caused issues. Perhaps it was this, but I’m not entirely sure. It shouldn’t be a theme update issue.

    Glad it’s resolved now though!
