    Hello,

Currently my link color is set to blue and on hover turns brown. I’m trying to make a custom blog posts page where all my latest posts will be shown. I’m using the WP Show Posts plugin to do so. When I do this, the (clickable title) is also blue (which looks quite bad). I was wondering if it is possible to change it to another color only for that page as I only intended for the blue link color for links in my body paragraphs.

Would appreciate any help, thank you!

    Hi Ash,

I would first advise using the GenerateBlocks Query Loop Block instead of WP Show Posts since WP Show Posts has already been merged with GenerateBlocks a while back. We no longer provide support for WP Show Posts, and our team’s focus moving forward in terms of development and compatibility will be with GenerateBlocks. Through the Query Loop Block, you should be able to control the color of GB Headline Block links through the Block settings. Reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/headline-overview/#colors

    Hi Fernando,

Thank you for the quick reply. I went ahead and tried using GenerateBlocks Query Loop Block as suggested and it works well. However, the read more button after the excerpt only seems to appear for the first and second posts and for the posts in between, the read more button isn’t there.

    I see.

If for instance, you have a custom Excerpt, the Read more button wouldn’t appear by default. You would need to edit the Query Loop. Specifically:

    1. Select the Block displaying your Post Excerpt. And disable the Use default more link.
    2. Then, add a GB Buttons Block under your Block for the Excerpt to create a new Read More button. Just set the Dynamic Link Source to single post. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuDj62E
