Hello,
I’m thinking of changing from the dispatch theme to the info theme. would it be a simple change? Would it improve performance or is it just an aesthetic change?
In general I am happy with the Dispatch theme but like it is based on WP Show Posts I am thinking about the change.Thanks

Hi there,
installing a site from the library on an existing site is best done on a Staging server of backup of your live site.
that way you don’t mess up your live site.If you want to try it, then i would:
1. delete any CSS in Customizer > Additional CSS ( that was imported with Dispatch )
2. delete any Elements in Appearance > Elements that were imported by Dispatch.Then import the Info site.
Once done you will need to edit the Query Loop blocks on the home page and in the Sidebars to reflect your site requirements.Performance wise, maybe a little better then dispatch particularly the homepage, but that will depend on how many query loops you choose to display their 🙂
