    Hi,

I’m using WP 6.1, GP 3.2.1 and the GP Premium plugin 2.2.0.

I suddenly lost the ability to activate/deactivate modules. I just get the spinner and nothing else happens.

I’ve disabled all other plugins and that didn’t help.

Under site health, WP does not report any problems other than two recommended php modules missing/disabled, zip and intl.

File permissions tab in site health has everything as writable.

Thoughts on what might cause this?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

We might need some more info.

Can you go to Appearance > GeneratePress, right click > inspect, open the Console tab, when you try to activate/deactivate modules, is there any error showing in the console?

If it is, can you copy the information and share it here?

    Let me know!

    Hi Ying,

okay, got it – I went through with a cookie editor and recleared my cookies again and that fixed the issue. I don’t know how that got so messed up!

403 error usually means lack of communication between your server and ours.

Can you try the solutions mentioned here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/403-forbidden-when-activating-license-key

    I found my posts won’t publish/update either.

Hum… if you switch to a twenty twenty theme, is the issue fixed?

    Let me know!

Thanks, as posted, now resolved by reclearing cookies again. Seems odd though, doesn’t it? Sorry for the edits, seemed silly to leave those posts so messy

Don’t worry about the edits, it’s all good 🙂

Happy to know you’ve gotten it sorted!
