[Support request] How to enable the block editor for the hook element?

Hello Support,

I’m currently using Astra theme, they have a custom layout function, and I can create a custom layout with the block editor and hook it on anywhere.
But their block editor Spectra doesn’t support the dynamic content, and they told me this is under development.
So I want to switch to Generatepress.

But I’ve checked gp hook element, I can’t create a layout with the block editor. Questions are below:
Q1: Is there a way to convert the hook element code editor to gp block editor, so it is more intuitive to someone who are not familiar with code.
Q2: How can we get a shortcode of the block element? So we can insert the shortcode into the hook element. I think this is a solution.

It takes time to be familiar with new theme, so please help to advise, this is important for me.
