Hi there! I have two issues with that element.

The first one is that I would like to activate the LinkedIn icon grabbing the URL directly from the user infos. I enabled the dynamic data but when visiting a blog post the icon is disappeared… 🤷🏼‍♂️

The second issue is with email. If I activate the dynamic content the address is showed directly near the icon while I would like to open the user email client with a new message directly set. Before doing that I would like to be sure that our email addresses are safe and not potentially grabbed with crawlers or used to spam. 😬

    Can you help me?

    THANKS! 🤗

    Hi there,

LinkedIn URLs are not a default field in the WordPress user profiles.
So how has that field been added as we will need to know where it is stored to get that data

Email – to protect them requires an email encoder:

Hi David, nice to hear from you! 😃

Thanks for the suggestion regarding the email, I’ll read about your suggested plugin asap.

In regard of LinkedIn I inserted the URL to my profile in the WP USER space.

Starting from the first data field I have:
    – email
    – Facebook URL
    – Instagram URL
    – LinkedIn URL (I inserted the my profile URL here)
    – and so on…

I attached the screenshot to better explain where I put the data.

    THANKS! 🤗

Ok, so i will assume they are coming from Yoast.
And if thats the case you should be able to:

    1. Add a GenerateBlocks Button and set it to display the LinkedIN icon.
    2. With that button selected, in the sidebar settings enable Dynamic Data and set:
    DATA SOURCE: Current Post
    LINK SOURCE: Author Meta
    AUTHOR META FIELD: type: linkedin

    3. Publish those changes.

Hi David, I tried your suggentions but it doesn’t work… As you can see from the screenshot, it displays the LinkedIn url on the right beside the button. 😭

I followed your instructions step by step.

    THANKS! 🤗

Are you sure you set the LINK SOURCE ?
the CONTENT SOURCE should be left empty.
