Hi there,
I have set the vertical and horizontal align to center everywhere (grid, containers), but somehow I do not get the text near the icons centered.
I´d simply would like to get the icon and text text nearby centered neatly.
What is wrong here?

select the Headline block with the Icon, and in Settings > Spacing – set the Bottom Margin to
0otherwise it attracts the customizer body typography margins.Hi David,

As a general rule:
Anytime you want to break from the Themes default styles or add icons – then use the GB Headline.
Otherwise use the core Text Block and Heading blocks.Glad to be of help
