Hello, I have followed the instructions in the smooth scrolling video however it does not appear to work in any browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc). I’ve tried clearing my cache and it did not fix the issue.
My site is here: https://dev.lcsnetworks.com – the arrow at the bottom should scroll to the #fold anchor:
1) #fold anchor applied to the GenerateBlocks container I want to scroll to
2) Smooth scrolling enabled in Settings -> General
3) smooth-scroll css class applied to the button (the arrow is a GenerateBlocks button with text disabled and a custom SVG icon).
4) Button links to the #fold anchor
As this is a development site, there are no plugins enabled except for Contact Form 7 and the GP premium / Generate Blocks plugins.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi there, it turns out it wasn’t my browser or GP at all.
It appears Windows will prevent browser smooth scroll from working if you have animations turned off in the settings for the OS (under Accessibility -> Visual effects)
