When I am applying changes in functions.php , the changes in the relevant page (e.g. shortcocde) sometimes are not reflecting when I refresh the page.
It can take several “page refresh” (cmd+shift+r) or even 1-2 minutes for the updated content to appear.Note that I do not have any cache plugin enabled and I am logged in.
Please advise if that’s a configuration issue, or something within the theme behavior?

Perhaps you have CDN or Server side caching? You can check this with your hosting provider.
It happens for me in local development on my local laptop.
Other WordPress sites not functioning like this, therefore I thought it relates to the theme.Customer Support
Hi there,
that sounds like a caching issue. Whether that be the browser ( use Incognito browser to mitigate caches ) or your local server ( check in its settings ).
The Theme itself won’t get in the way of your custom functions
