    Hi there,

    methods available today:

    1. Use a Block Element – Content Template to design your post content template:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-content-template/

    2. Add additional content before or after the loop using additional Block Elements:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/?s=block+element

In an upcoming GP Premium update, we will be adding a feature to disable the default theme loop allowing you to build out the entire archive template using the GenerateBlocks plugins.

Has this feature been released yet? The inability to create full custom templates for post type archives is greatly needed.

    Hi Joe,

Yes, it’s already been released. It’s called a Block Element – Loop Template. Kindly update GP and HP Premium to the latest

Do you have any tutorials on how to use this feature?

We don’t have a video tutorial yet for this feature, but, if you look through YouTube, there are already other customers who have made videos regarding this. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnIOfBYAZ8Q

Basically, the Loop Template just allows you to override the Blog/Archive Pages through GenerateBlocks with a Query Loop Block as mentioned in the article previously shared..
