I have switched to the new typographie font manager. But now I can not change the font soze of the text in widgets in the footer. There is only the optin to change the widget titles. With the old syste, that was easy to do.
Okay, I have figured this out with this post:https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/widget-font-size-missing/
But why is this much more complicated as it was in the old system?
Without the information in this post, no one can find out how this works?
Why can I not simply choose widget font size from the list?
It’s because WP changed its widgets from the legacy ones to the block ones.
Most widgets are now in the block form, and you can control their typography directly within the block settings.
The theme can NOT control all of the widgets’ typography anymore, and it’s hard to target, even with the custom selector.widget, you can only target part or none of the widgets.
