    Hello,

I just updated to GPB 1.5.1
But now in the Gutenberg Editor, the Yoast Seo Box, which was always at the bottom, is now in the middle of the editor and overlay the content. Then I have clicked a bit on the arrows, and now it is in the Sidebar of the Editor.

I want Yoast Seo back to the bottom, where it belongs. What to do?

    Hi Sonja,

I can’t see how this would be a GB issue – it doesn’t have the ability to interfere with the editor like that.

I also just tested in a fresh install with GB 1.5.1:

And Yoast’s metabox is still at the bottom:

It is definitly since the update to 1.5.1.
But it was not there when i openend the editor. I have copied GPB Info Box and editied it several times and suddenly the problem was there.

    Hi there,

This is a known issue in Gutenberg itself: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/7960

You can move a metabox between the sidebar and bottom of the post using the arrows like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/qQv7TBUIOX

    Hope this helps!

Hm, thanks, but when i click on the up arrow like you do in the video, then the yoast box moves up in the sidebar. But it does not go to the bottom of the post.

    Hi Sonja,

I can’t replicate the issue as well from my end on GB 1.5.1 and GBP 1.2.0.

The arrows to move the Yoast metabox work as expected on my end as well.

You could probably try temporarily disabling both GB and GBP to test if these two indeed are causing the issue.

I would suggest trying #1 here as well: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

It would be good to take a backup of your site before doing so.

    Hope this clarifies.
