Abali
I work with localhost for now and need your help, I used blocks to design my footer section but it has margin gap at the top which isn’t nice. I even use margin-top:-90px; it worked but affects other pages by overlapping at the top.

Hi Abali,
To clarify, is the Featured Post section created with a Block Element? Moreover, is the Footer Section also created with a Block Element?
If so, can you open the List View while editing these Block Elements, and then check if there’s an empty Paragraph Block as such: https://share.getcloudapp.com/v1uODRoQ
Check if the Container Block has margins as well: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAu8bz9N
Kindly let us know.

I see. Are the two section Block Elements? Or, is the section above the footer section part of the content?
Kindly let us know.

Thanks for sending the images.
Can you go to Appearance > Customize > Layout > Container > Content Padding, and try to set the Bottom padding to
0?If that doesn’t work, can you check if this Container has a bottom margin or padding?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7Ku60dWE
Kindly let us know.

Hard to figure out where the space is coming from without seeing the site live.
Can you try clearing the cache of you browser? The Content Padding is one usual culprit for this as can be seen here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuwWZ08
Let’s try to see if you’re seeing a cached version of your site.
If that doesn’t work, can you inspect the space and take a screenshot of the html of the Element: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuwWZ08
Kindly send it here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#uploading-screenshots
Hope to hear from you soon.

I have something to tell you….as you directed goto custom -> container -> padding bottom padding insert 0px. i did that and it work for other page except the home page….it still have the gap

I see. Glad that worked for all the other pages. Now, we’re sure that the margin isn’t coming from the Footer Block Element.
Now if all that’s left is the Home Page, can you recheck if there are paddings and margins in the Container Block, or in the elements within Featured Posts Block?
Otherwise, right now I’m thinking there’s a custom code causing this. Have you added any custom CSS code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS?
Kindly let us know.
