    Hello,

I am trying to add additional navigation options to my website, and having some trouble…

Right now my site uses (4) Categories for various blog posts. Is there a way to easily add a drop down menu of those 4 categories under my main “Article” Header Menu, without messing anything up?

So a visitor clicks on “Articles” Then they see a drop down of my (4) categories and can click on any of them to be taken to all the articles in that category?

    Hi Adam,

You can use a custom html menu item for article, enter # as its link.

Then you can add category menu items as its children.

Hi Ying…thank you. But where do I find the custom html menu? Is this under Appearance > Customize? Or do you have a link/resource you can send with more details?

Menu is actually handled by wordpress, so go to appearance > menus, you can build your menu there.

Thank you, Ying- so just to be clear, this isn’t a Generate Press issue? This is a WordPress feature and I should ask them for additional help?

    Hi Adam,

Yes, this is a WordPress functionality, but we can gladly guide you how to do it.

Here are a few steps after you go to Appearance > Menus:

    1. Create a Menu
    2. Add a Custom Link: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uOYZ0W
    3. Add categories: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuwZygq
    4. Drag categories under your Custom Link: https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAu1Wdv9
    5. Save the menu

Through this, you can use a WordPress Navigation Block to display the menu in your website: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5uOYZvW

You can repeat these steps if you wish to add more menus.

    Hope this helps!
