Hi guys,
I’ve been replacing my images of one of my websites, my goal is to serve all of them from a CDN. And, I want to use an external image as feature image on my posts and pages. When I want to change the change the logo here: https://mayangatewayimages.b-cdn.net/Screenshots/Screen%20Shot%202022-05-17%20at%2009.21.20.png – the only option is to chose it from media library, and when I replace the future image here: https://mayangatewayimages.b-cdn.net/Screenshots/Screen%20Shot%202022-05-17%20at%2009.22.20.png – also, the only option is to pick one from image gallery, as you guys know.
Basically, I want to do what a plugin like this one does: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/featured-image-from-url/ but without having to add the plugin. I have the Code Snippets plugin, so is there a code snippet you guys recommend I can use?

i checked around the forum and unfortunately we don’t have a snippet for that.
Its nots a simple thing to change, and you should be aware that adding an external URL may result in nosrc-setsizes orwidthandheightattributes being output for your featured images HTML. Which could effect responsiveness and web dev metrics.I understand, and thank you for checking though David.
