It looks like it’s being overridden lower down. We are trying to set it to 17px and it’s overridden by 14px. I’ve searched Simple CSS and the theme Additional CSS for this code: .main-navigation .main-nav ul ul li a {font-size: 14px;} and it just isn’t anywhere in there.

I also tried using the health and troubleshooting plugin to disable everything but Generatepress and the GP premium plugin. The size is still overridden, so it doesn’t appear to be another plugin causing it. Do you have any suggestions on what the issue could be?

We are working on this staging site here.

    Hi there,

are you using the new Dynamic Typography:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-typography-overview/

If so then you will find in the Typography manager you can select the Primary Sub Menu Items.

That doesn’t seem to match ours. How new is new? We are using a child theme, could that have anything to do with it? It may be using the old one. I have noticed some sites seem to have this new version but this one doesn’t. I don’t see it in preview of the base theme either.

It was released in GP 3.1 – for any site built prior to that requires it to be enabled. This link in the above doc explains how to:

Well, I tried enabling it but it didn’t help. Customizer shows 17px but the submenu shows 14px. The inspector specifically says something is overriding it.

    Hi Weatherly,

The login doesn’t work for me, it says The username or password you entered is incorrect.

    Can you check?

Sorry I’ll put it in again. I think my autofill mucked up the user name.

Ok so i went into Customizer > Typography and Add Typography -> Selected the Target Element >> Primary Sub Menu Items and set that to 17px – see here:

Thank you! It looked like it said that before but I guess I needed to redo and hit publish again!
