I started a new site using the wordsmith template. I cannot find the location of the hero image nor do I see any content blocks available to edit. All of the plugins are activated so I am not sure how to proceed.
When I am on the home page looking for the hero image my screen looks a lot different than other tutorials on youtub.e

I figured it out. I had to disable WP Editor. I assume I do not need that editor if I am using blocks correct? Thanks!

Hi Paul,
By “WP Editor” did you mean Gutenberg/Block Editor?
If yes, you’ll need it to edit GP Premium’s Block Elements. (if you have one on your site)
If don’t have one and all of your contents are edited within Classic Editor then you can uninstall/remove it.

I meant the classic editor. I had to switch it to block editor and I believe I am all set now. I don’t believe I need the Gutenberg editor, do I? It seems to be working now but I don’t know what I don’t know.

My recommendation would be to start using the block editor as WP no longer supports the classic editor.
