1. I’m not seeing the text Blog in the default template:

2. You can remove it in the Posts Hero block element page hero:

Try adding Blog to the Exclusions of the Site Hero:

Still have the authors name appearing also.
So both solutions I provided aren’t working? They should absolutely work.
Can you clear any caching plugin or server-level caching you might be using?
