Hi there, I think I need a page builder now. Is the GPtheme package includes a page builder? If there is none do I need one? I see there’s a lot of templates on the site library for none, Elementor and Beaver builder. So, do I need to purchase Elementor or Beaver if I need to use those templates? But I can use the default templates, right? Please let me know. Thanks.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Is the GPtheme package includes a page builder?
Not by default, but it can work with Beaver Builder and Elementor. 🙂
If there is none do I need one?
It depends on the level of your technical know-how w/ WordPress and front-end development.
If you’re building a simple site, you likely won’t need one. 🙂
So, do I need to purchase Elementor or Beaver if I need to use those templates? But I can use the default templates, right?
The pre-made site templates come pre-installed with the free version of Elementor or Beaver Builder. You don’t need to purchase the paid versions for them to work.
But I can use the default templates, right?
Not sure what you mean by this. If you meant editing the base theme w/ a page-builder then yes, you can do that.
That’s actually how the pre-made site templates were made. 🙂

I just want to add a design to my homepage. I want to add grid images and columns. How do I do that?
I can’t find GenerateBlocks as my post editor. I want to use it when creating a block element. All I see is a visual editor and the text editor.

Hi Shlomo,
GenerateBlocks are add-on blocks for the WordPress Block/Gutenberg Editor.
See this for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/5zunEn8D
Moreover, as mentioned by Elvin, by default, GP theme isn’t a page builder. Visual and Code editor are default WordPress Editor states wherein you can simply go in and out of writing element through HTML code.
See this for reference: https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/editors/
Lastly, here is a video by Leo which you can refer to with regards to using GenerateBlocks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZUAy-14g00

Here are helpful documents: https://docs.generateblocks.com/collection/blocks/
Here is our site library: https://generatepress.com/site-library/
Hope this helps! 🙂
