    Hello,

After a move a few days ago from a development sub-part of the domain to the main domain everything seems to work. All the old data is successful shown. However now we run into a problem when uploading new pictures in the media library that they don’t show up on the page. When I check the file manager they are not on the server but they end up on the old domain-folder. Like WordPress is still trying to upload it to the old domain folder which was http://www.example.nl/ontwikkelomgeving and now should be http://www.example.nl. The older pictures from before the migration show up fine.

I realize this might be a core WordPress issue, I tried disabling plugins and changing the theme.

Any help resolving this issue is appreciated. It is like part of WordPress is still set to use the old path for the media library.

    Hi there,

    how very odd.
I assume the URLs in Dashboard > Settings > General are correct ?

    Hi David,

Yes these settings I changed to the main domain http://www.example.nl after the move. Also I tried resetting the permalinks by clicking on plain and then save settings.

    Hmm very odd indeed.

Any chance you can check with WP’s support team and see if they can comment?

    Hello all,

I just figured out how to fix this problem.

At settings – Media there was a field where the files for the media gallery are saved. The strange thing is when I go there now this field has disappeared. I changed it to the default value. Perhaps the setting only shows when it is set in the database or in some settings file as non-default.
