I don’t this font under typography –> font manager.

Could you please let me how can I add and enable sans-serif font.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Regards,
    PK

    Hi PK,

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “I don’t this font under typography –> font manager.”.

to clarify, were you asking how to use the new Typography options in GP 3.1?

Check our guide here – https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/

    Hi Elvin,

I am using GP 3.1 and I know how to use New Typography options.

I want to use ‘San-Serif’ fonts which I don’t find under Typography options.

It seems like it is not available in Typography.

    Hi there,

in Customizer > Typography –>> Font Manager.

    1. Add a new Font
    2. in the Font Family Field add your font family name ie. sans-serif
    3. DO NOT check the Google Font toggle if it appears.

You now have a sans-serif font you can add in your typography settings.

    Hi David,

I did exactly the same steps that you have suggested above but it seems like ‘sans-serif’ are not available in default GP theme.

Why I am saying this because after doing your suggested steps, when I apply fonts to body or content fonts fallback to system-default fonts.

I am a little confused… sans-serif is not a font like Arial or Poppins or Roboto. It simply tells the browser to use its System font and the font should be sans serif ie. IT IS NOT A SERIF FONT.
