    Hello,
I am having an issue with a site I just migrated over from a staging area. The site is loading properly in Chrome and Firefox on desktop but not on Edge. Safari mobile is producing the same results but when I am in Safari on my iphone and “Request Desktop Website” it works but switch back to “Request Mobile Website” it doesn’t load, only the Header. I also noticed the mobile menu isn’t working properly. I have deactivated all the plugins and tested it but it seems to be a browser issue as I also had someone test it in Chrome on Android and it works.

Any thoughts or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you
    Kelly

    Hi there,

i tested the site on iOS Safari and it looks to me like its loading correctly, even after using Request Mobile / Desktop sites. I also tested the mobile menu toggle and that is working.

On the note of Request Mobile Site – that option only really applies if there is a separate subdomain site for the mobile site – its not something commonly used today with responsive themes like GP.

Are you able to test the site on a different network and using a Private/Incognito browser to eliminate any ISP/Router/Browser caches that may be interfering ?

    Hello,

Thank you for your response. I was using the Request Desktop Site as another avenue to test. I have tested it incognito and externally and was having these issues. But as of this morning, I see it is now working on Safari. Perhaps since this was a migration it took longer to refresh. I am not totally sure, as I am not a developer, but thank you for taking the time to review this.

Most likely there was some cached files along network path that had some ‘old’ data being stored. It can take a little while for changes to propagate and a lot of servers particularly ISPs like to cache files longer then we would like them too 🙂

Are all the issues now resolved ?

Yes, I believe so. Thank you again for taking the time.
