Is GP Library site “Shop” PHP8 ready

Hi, I installed clean WP 5.8, then GP theme, then GPP plugin, then activate all GPP parts, then go to site library and install “Shop” with samples import. Installation stuck at importing sample content and maintenance mail arrived to my administrator email. After entering recovery mode, GPP and Woocommerce plugins was paused. Details at Private information section. Versions: WordPress verze 5.8
Aktuální šablona: GeneratePress (verze 3.0.4)
Aktuální plugin: WooCommerce (verze 5.5.2)
Verze PHP 8.0.1

So maybe PHP8 error ? Or any other idea ?

Hi there,

what happens if you install Woocommerce before installing the site ?

Didn’t try. I move at my hosting to new server (old one has PHP 7.3 max), they set PHP 8 automaticly for me. After moving this site was broken, but its only test site for me, so I installed again from zero and use Woocommerce instalation by Shop site from library.

I ran a test to see if i could replicate the issue.
My steps were:

a) Clean install of WP
b) Install only GP Theme and GP Premium
c) Enable ONLY the Site Library Module
d) Imported SHOP site.

And that worked OK.

Can you try from a clean install and those steps ?

installing options, WP Show post, activating plugins, importing content and stuck. Then recovery mail recieved with info:

Not sure if its related but i would increase PHP time limit and PHP Max. Input Time
Those are very short, and import processes may require a much longer time allowance.

PHP time limit is only option I can edit at my hosting, max limit is 300. Input time can’t modify. I’ll try with 300…

Looks like Woocommerce is not PHP 8 ready. The same error on clean WP install right after WC activation. Sorry for Your time.
