Hi!
If I use GPP+GB, whats the fastest way to copy static page content and paste it to another page? As it was long time ago, when it was possible to check the HTML source code and press cmd+a, cmd+c and cmd+v. Thanks!
P.S. Without adding every block to “my blocks” and without duplicate page plugins.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
in the Block Editor you can go to the 3 dot menu and select Copy ALL Content.
Or you can use CTRL-A to select all the copy on the page, just don’t have a block selected as it will first select just that blocks content. And you’ll have to ctrl-a a couple of times.

Hi
I’ve tried copying all of the blocks on one page by selecting “ Copy ALL Content” and then opening a new page and selecting paste. I’ve done this several times today and every time I end up with duplicated content in the new page.
For example: Assume that my original page has 6 full width containers and each one comprises of a two 2 column grid with images and text.
I then “copy all content” and open a new page and paste it.
Somehow the pasted content is doubled up. I will have 2 of every container. It’s like the page goes top to bottom and then top to bottom again all on one page.It happens every time I do it. What am I doing wrong?
Also if I just try to copy a container by selecting “copy”, when I go to paste it somewhere paste is greyed out. If I try to paste it by clicking the copy paste button, only copy is available. How do you paste?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
First off Paste will only work if you have an Empty Text Block selected to paste into.
The other issue just sounds bizarre – as an alternative, switch to the Code Editor View ( 3 dot menu in top toolbar ).
Then copy all the code.
In your new post switch to cover view and paste it into a text block, then switch back to visual editingJuly 31, 2021 at 1:11 am #1878057Alan
Thanks David. That works fine. Not sure why “copy all content “ Doesn’t work. It seems to do the same thing every time I try it.

StaffCustomer SupportNever seen that before – i wonder if theres something in the post content that confuses the editor.
Glad to hear the other method works though 🙂 -
