The theme itself and optimized for speed as explained in the article here:
https://generatepress.com/category/development/There are many factors that can contribute to the speed of your site. This includes the plugins you are using, the content (are your images optimized?) and the quality of your hosting and service.
Can you first disable all plugins and custom functions excluding GP Premium to see if the speed improves?
Disabling GP premium gives performance boost from 60 to 70 . Considering GP premium is bundled with the theme itself , its a concern!!

Hi there,
First lets look at the layout issues – you should begin by disabling any cache/optimization plugins. If the site then displays correctly, you know its one of the optimization settings causing the issue.
Perforamce wise enabling GP Premium should not make that significant a difference to performance, unless you’re using something like the Elements module to insert other code or content. We can look at that once you investigate the cache optimizations.
