This is very strange. We’ve been happily building a site and adding links to images and text/headers with no issue. The last couple of days when I try to add a link to a header block it inserts the link text into the text for the block and does not save the link.
It works as expected for adding a link to an image. We have not added any other plugins recently, certainly not since this was working as expected.
the page in question at the moment is https://devpospos108.wpengine.com/words/ The link is good on The Burning image, would not take on The Seven Absolutes image. I got it to work on the VISIT PARVATI MAGAZINE link at the bottom of the page after many tries and creating a new container and new block. I tried new block for the the COMING SOON link on The Burning, but not a whole new container. I have a pic of the url getting inserted into the text but don’t know how/where to upload that to a ticket.

This is very unlikely a theme issue.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and GenerateBlocks to test first?
Ok. thanks. It did seem very odd to me. Will check with the team and try that. We have three people working on the site so just have to make sure no one else needs a plug in at this minute. It might take awhile. I have found ways to make it happen now, it is just a bit fiddly and painful, whereas I swear it was very easy in the past, so something changed – likely with us.
