Hashim
Hi there,
I’m trying to create a custom product archive page like the custom blog page Leo created by replacing the default blog template with a content template using the block element and dynamic content in this video:
However, I can’t find any dynamic content for WooCommerce products like product title, product image and product price.
Do you know where I can find those to create a custom product archive page?
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
Hashim

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Content Templates only work with the Themes templates, not 3rd party plugins. We’re looking into a future update for using this with Woocommerce.

Hi David,
Thank you for explaining!
I’d like to share this with you guys just in case…
https://youtu.be/9CIMj-wf3Y0Kadence is about to release their dynamic content feature. And although it isn’t shown in the video, I received confirmation that they’re already testing out their WooCommerce integration for dynamic content which will be released in a few weeks from now.
I’m sharing this with you because I really like GeneratePress. And I’m noticing that more and more GeneratePress owners are trying out Kadence because of all the features they’re releasing and especially because of the customization options they offer for WooCommerce.
I personally would love to see GeneratePress offering the same (and even better) solutions for WooCommerce. Because I’d like to keep using GeneratePress myself as well as see the GeneratePress customer and fan base grow harder than whatever is out there. 🙂

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
We’re working on it. We prefer a slower approach to development than some other theme/plugin out there. It’s important to get these things right the first time instead of rushing. That way we can prevent total re-writes and customer frustration later down the road.
Thanks!

I am curious about how the development is going for this, Tom?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt’s not possible to build Content Templates in WooCommerce as of right now. We’re looking at alternative methods – mainly with our new Query Loop block in GenerateBlocks as it would offer a lot more flexibility.
