Roopesh
Hello
Hope that you are well?
I recently bought GP premium and uploaded the GenerateBlocks to my staging site. I am doing a change-over from Thrive themes. This is the site of mine that is 4 years old, and I created some main landing pages and home pages which were customized with Thrive Architect.
Now that I have GP, I deactivated the thrive suite, and the pages are looking clumped up, which I guess is expected. I also have Yoast Republish and Rewrite plugin to the duplicate the pages/posts so that I can rework the content.
What is the best and quickest way to recustomize these pages? Do I copy the text and rework below the original post/page, and then delete the top half of the content and republish? or is it fine if I work on the actual content and just work on the actual content directly?
Thanks so much for all the help.
Regards

StaffCustomer SupportHi Roopesh,
You’ll have to re-work the pages by re-doing their layouts with GenerateBlocks. It’s a bit tedious but that’s the way to go as you’ll have to manually put your contents within GB blocks if you wish to use its layout styling.
So yeah, to answer the question. I’m not sure if TAR orphans contents (I don’t think it does – https://thrivethemes.com/content-preservation/ – ) but if not, you’ll have to work on the actual content directly.

Yes, I had a feeling that you might say that. But tell me, as I add blocks and so forth to make the content more presentable, it should not have any effect on my SEO or anything like that, right? I am not adding new content or just making it more clearer to read.
Am I right?

It shouldn’t but to be sure, re-generate the schema and check for its effects. 🙂

I am sorry. But what is schema and how do I re-generate? I am a bit new to some of the stuff.
Thanks

Thank you so very much. I use All-in-one SEO. I will search for the schema.org for that.
Much appreciatedJune 29, 2021 at 10:03 pm #1839274Elvin
