Hi,
How do I set preview link for my site when I share link. Curerntly when I share my link some random image comes up as preview. I tried setting featured image but that just uploads the image to the top of the site.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean.
To clarify: Did you mean the image that shows up when you send it on chat apps like this – https://share.getcloudapp.com/P8u9Gk9d – or when sharing on twitter or facebook ?
You’ll need a plugin for that. I believe Rankmath and/or Yoast has this feature.

Yoast and Rankmath both have a free version.
I found a better way from experiment. You can disable featured image element from generate press. Then upload the featured image using the wordpress default option and it work
