You can try doing any of these:
– Use a plugin to automatically insert it for you.
– If you have a script, you can use the Hook Element to hook in your script on specific parts of the page.

Which option listed is going to make my site faster or slower?
Both will affect your site but the Hook Element will at least let you have more control because you’re basically adding the ads manually.
Plugins make things easier but they’re prone to adding bloat.
Regardless of how you go about this, I recommend getting an optimization plugin in an attempt to mitigate the effects on performances.
