Help, the font selection form seems to have disappeared from my customiser so I can’t choose fonts. Any idea why it should not be showing up?

The font weight/size tools are there but nothing else.

    Hmm, that’s odd.

Are you using the latest version of the theme (1.3.27) and GP Premium (1.2.79)?

    If not, try updating.

If so, try #1 on this page: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/debugging/

    Let me know 🙂

    Thanks for the prompt reply!

I had already downloaded the latest versions just to make sure.

Now I’ve deactivated every plugin except GP Premium, and sure enough, the font option has reappeared.

So now comes the painful isolation of the culprit!

I’ll post back when I find the conflict …

It is looking at the moment as if the problem is related to W3 Total Cache. At least I have reactivated all the other plugins except this, and the font selector is visible. When I activate W3 Total Cache, the selector disappears, and I can toggle the effect by deactivating W3 Total Cache again.

When I get time I’ll see if I can identify a particular setting in W3 Total Cache which problematic.

That is very weird, W3 Total Cache shouldn’t have any effect on the admin Dashboard – it should only apply to the front end of the website.

Yes, I’m not totally convinced W3 cache is the real culprit. I wonder if there is some kind of memory limit somewhere which is being exceeded and whether it is not a specific plugin at all. At another point, I felt sure it was a different plugin, but couldn’t reproduce it.

Ah, it could be a memory thing.

    Try increasing it: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/increasing-memory-limit/
