Hey GP Team, hpe all is well. I have a simple question I believe.
I have a site currently that uses a very old installation of Flatsome. I want to update it to modern times, but I also want to use GP. The issue i’m having with just redoing the entire site, is there’s a few custom coded plugins and logic that the site uses. So, I would like to retain the existing content etc but just put GP over it.
Now obviously, I can just install GP and go, but its going to wipe out all the stylings of the site for a while. So, my question, is it possible to set up and stylize a GP install on another blank WP and then copy it over to the existing site, hit activate and be good to go, as long as the content applied to the newly stylized theme?
Is there a better option?

Hi there,
I would recommend doing this on a staging site – many hosting offers this service for free so I’d advise checking with them first.
If not, you can create a new install, then use a plugin like Duplicator to clone your existing site to the new install, activate GP, make the tweaks there, then duplicate it back to the live site.
