Hi Tom,
Can’t find a way to get social media icons in the navigation bar.Followed Menu Social Icons instructions in Knowledgebase
https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/menu-social-icons/
but it didn’t work for me.Read a lot of posts on topic (2014-2015). Some provided different ways to do it or clarified your instructions (#45453 of 2014, which you said was “perfect.”) Don’t know if new GP versions changed anything.
Can you suggest anything that will help me?
Thanks.
Dick

Hold the Presses, Tom!
Just noticed a LinkedIn icon in my nav bar. Must have missed it before or had more than one website open.
Will try to do the same with more icons…
Thanks

Tom,
I can’t see any social icons on a desktop screen.I can see one social icon if I pull a Windows 10 half screen to the right.
I’ve set up three icons (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) but only one shows in the stretched screen (I think the last one I set up).
How solve?
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Dick,
Not sure what you mean? You can only see the icons when you have your site full screen? So they disappear when the menu toggle icon appears? If so, that’s normal – the icons are inside the mobile menu.
Let me know 🙂

Tom,
Site full screen: Only see one (Facebook) of three social icons set as custom links.
Why aren’t all three social icons (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter) showing?
Thanks.

Tom,
Don’t get it…
When went back to page, all three social icons are there! Just what I want.
They are in my navigation colors.
How can they be changed to their native colors?
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWhat are their native colors? Anything in your navigation will inherit your navigation colors.

Tom,
Ok, on the navigation colors…
But why do I see three social media icons on the nav bar sometimes, but mostly just one of them?
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m not sure, I’m seeing all three in Firefox as well.
Could be a setting on your computer/in Firefox – worth Googling “Firefox Font Awesome icons not appearing”.
