    Hi there,

the Image in the Cover Block ( which is the LCP element ) is over 360kb. Would recommend uploading a better optimized image – for above the fold images particularly you want them as smaall as possible.

I checked that site and the FCP is 2.8s and the LCP is 3.2s.
The 0.4 sec difference between the two is very reasonable and for the LCP being an image it is very acceptable.

So you need to focus on the FCP time – any improvments here will improve LCP.

In the PSI report – there are a few opportunities for improvement.

    1. Eliminate render-blocking resources
    2. Reduce initial server response time

You should first speak to your host about #2 – as improving the response time will benefit #1.

    Hi David,

You know how painful is to change the host, anyhow I would like your advice If I go for the cloaudflare paid service then can be a chance to improve it?

What are the best hosting services in your advice?

    Thanks,

Before rushing in to changing hosts or paying for services, its worth testing your site on a service like this:

    https://www.webpagetest.org

Choose a server that is closer to your host and your website audience. If you’re getting good results ‘locally’ then those timings should get reflected in the Field Data that google will collect. But i would advise optimizing your site images 🙂

Hosting wise – we use Kinsta, and have used Digital Ocean in the past. All are very high grade. I also run some sites on Siteground where cost is an issue and have achieved very good results with them.

CDN wise, i would only opt for that if i am targeting a global audience – if your users are localised then its not a real benefit and may not necessarily improve the page speed scores that Google generates.
