This is the one it works on (transferred all the settings): https://learnclub.wpmudev.host/
Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportThe header of this site is removed:
https://learnclub.co.uk/Did you remove it using the disable element or element module?
March 17, 2021 at 9:31 am #1699211Dan King
I’ve used the disable element because with it on it looks like:

StaffCustomer SupportNot sure if I fully understand. So you disabled the header on the site with the issue?
You need the header in order to replicate the layout you have here:
https://learnclub.wpmudev.host/Once the header appears, you can follow the steps here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/off-canvas-panel-overview/#use-off-canvas-menu-onlyMarch 18, 2021 at 2:32 am #1699963Dan King
Hey Leo,
I’ve ‘un-disabled’ the header so you can see the issue…
I’ve followed the steps so we’ve made progress… but (i made a video easier to explain)
https://www.loom.com/share/fbbb29546b084c0685fc96e56f37cb8f
How do I get both canvas menus to behave the same and headers to look the same?
Thanks
Dan

StaffCustomer SupportThis site here: https://learnclub.wpmudev.host/
Is using full width container:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/#full-widthAnd a merged page hero header element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/transparent-header-and-navigation/My recommendation would be to compare the page settings and elements to make sure they are exactly the same.

Hi leo,
Okay.. half the battle is knowing / not knowing where all these settings are to copy from https://learnclub.wpmudev.host/ to https://learnclub.co.uk/ but we’re getting there…
Now I have the transparent background – great…
– the menu and hamburger icon have a white box…
– the canvas menu background is white and not semi transparent..
– the font on the canvas menu is different..I have no clue where these settings are lurking.
Thanks for your help so far…

Hi Leo,
There’s also an issue where a bar appears on scroll up…

StaffCustomer SupportHi Dan,
– the menu and hamburger icon have a white box…
Go to Customizing > Colors > Primary Navigation, change background color for parent items there.
– the canvas menu background is white and not semi transparent..
Go to Customizing > Colors > Off Canvas Panel, change background color for parent items there.
– the font on the canvas menu is different..
They are the same font, you can go to Customizing > Layout > Primary Navigation, change the Mobile Menu Label from “MENU” to “Menu”.
There’s also an issue where a bar appears on scroll up…
That’s a sticky navigation, you can deactivate it at Customizing > Layout > Sticky Navigation.
